Our team successfully completed a project to strengthen a specific section of this structure.

Here's a summary of the work performed:

We replaced existing flange bolts at elevation 60.0 ft with stronger A490 bolts, including nuts with fire-welded washers, following a specific flange bolt installation detail.

In the section between elevations 120.0 ft and 140.0 ft, we installed new mid-panel horizontals with designated dimensions.

Finally, at a higher elevation range (200.0 ft to 240.0 ft), upgrades were made. Between 200.0 ft and 220.0 ft, both new mid-panel horizontals and upgraded diagonal supports were installed according to the details on Sheet S-502. The remaining section (220.0 ft to 240.0 ft) involved upgrading the existing diagonal supports as specified in Sheet S-503.

This project enhances the structural integrity of this section. All work was performed by qualified personnel following relevant engineering specifications and safety regulations.
